2024 Community Solar & Water Expansion
Location: Rural Uganda
Dates: September 2024
Key Projects:
- Solar + Battery Installations: Powered two schools, one medical clinic, and a newly formed church.
- Clean Water Drilling: Expanded an existing well site to serve over 1,000 villagers.
- Community Outreach: Ran a children’s program that provided 600 pairs of reading glasses and basic health education.
Impact Story:
“Before this trip, nighttime classes and emergency medical care were nearly impossible. Now, students can study and patients can receive urgent treatment after dark. The difference has been transformative.”
2023 Medical & Library Outreach
Location: Uganda (Multiple Villages)
Dates: May 2023
Key Projects:
- Medical Clinics: Treated 60 patients dealing with infections, malaria, and other ailments.
- Library Creation: Distributed over 2,000 books, 15 iPads, and several computers to start three libraries.
- Discipleship & Education: Hosted mini-seminars on hygiene, literacy, and Bible study, fostering both community wellness and spiritual growth.

2012 Foundational Mission
Location: First Visit to Uganda
Dates: October 2012
Key Projects:
- Initial Well & Church Plant: Drilled a pilot well that inspired the idea of pairing clean water with spiritual outreach.
- Community Immersion: Our team witnessed firsthand the resilience of local families, sparking a deep conviction that love must be both practical and eternal.
- Long-Term Vision: This inaugural trip laid the groundwork for Big Love’s future focus on wells, solar + battery power, and church-based discipleship.
